Inbox Dollars

Hey guys, how is it going? Today, I will be showing you how you can setup a giveaway on your streamlabs chatbot. So first of all let me show you how it looks like when a giveaway is being run.

Alright, so this is what the viewers are seeing, as you can see my viewer count has increased by one and that’s because the giveaway bot has entered into the giveaway. And this is how the giveaway looks like in the chatbox. Alright now let me show you how can you do this yourself.

So first of all what you need to do is head over to your stream labs’ dashboard and then go to your chatbot settings. Now I have already set up my chatbot here so I am just going to scroll down to the ‘commands tab’ here and click on this button right here which says ‘custom commands’. As you can see some custom commands are already present here but we want to add the giveaway command so I am going to click on this button which says ‘add command’. Now you will have to enter the command name

If you want to give something away, it’s as easy as adding a giveaway widget to your stream. In this article, we will show you how to set up giveaways on Twitch using Streamlabs.

Is There A Way To Giveaway Bits On Twitch?

Unfortunately, there is no way to giveaway Bits on Twitch. As of now, the only way to do giveaways on Twitch is by doing them manually. You can use random number generators to choose a winner and then pay them the Bits yourself.

How to do a giveaway on twitch with streamelements

– open your browser and go to streamelements.com

– press login and type in your account data. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one for free.

– after you logged in, you will see a menu on the left side of your screen. press “giveaways” and then “new giveaway”.

– now you have to select the channel you want to have your giveaway.

– if this is the first giveaway for your channel, the system will ask you for permission to post for your channel. confirm this message with “allow”.

– now the settings for your first giveaway will appear on the right side of your screen. there are some different categories which can be adjusted. lets start at the top:

– name: give your giveaway a name so it is easy to identify it in the future

– prize: enter what exactly people can win in that giveaway

– duration: how long should your giveaway run?

– min viewers: how many viewers should be watching at least to enter? make sure that this number isn’t too high or nobody will be able to join. I would recommend something between 1 and 20 viewers.

How do I make sure that the giveaway is only open to my subscribers?

Use this tool to pick a random winner for your giveaway or contest on Twitch.tv. You can also use it to choose a winner for your YouTube giveaways, Twitter promotions or Instagram contests.

Twitch Giveaway Picker: Pick a random winner from comments with this bot. Here is a complete example.

Tonight we’re going to try something new! We are giving away a $20 USD Steam gift card! Please keep in mind that if you have been banned from the channel at any point, even if you were unbanned, you’re not eligible to win.

We’ve got a chatbot set up to handle this giveaway. You can enter the giveaway by typing ! give me <your username>. For example, I would type “!give me starfox”. If you don’t have a Twitch account and want to participate anyway, just type “!give me theguywiththebeard” or something similarly generic.

Everyone who enters will be added to a list. Your name is only entered once, no matter how many times you use the command.

At 9:30PM EDT tonight we’ll randomly select one person from that list as the winner. I’ll send them a direct message on Twitch and ask them to provide their email address so that I can send the code to them.

Welcome to the bot. We have a giveaway right now called !pickme. To enter all you need to do is type !pickme in this channel and the bot will pick a winner!

1)type !startpickme

2)type !stoppickme when you are ready to pick a winner

3)type !pickme and the bot will pick a random winner

hello! welcome to the raffle! comment your username and you will be entered in the giveaway. The winner will be selected in a few minutes. Good luck to everyone!

Twitch giveaway plugin

If you are a regular twitch streamer and you have a giveaway on your channel, then you know how difficult it is to pick a winner for the giveaway.

I have created this plugin to make this process very easy for you. This plugin will help in getting a random user from the list of those who have entered your giveaway.

You can also filter out users that don’t meet your requirements like account age etc.

The plugin

The plugin is available to download here.

Goals

The goals of the plugin are:

To be customizable and easy to integrate into the streamers site

To be easy for the streamer to use (even if they are not tech-savvy)

To be easy for the viewer to use (especially if they don’t have a Twitch account)

To be fast, responsive and efficient

Features

The plugin’s features include:

Flexible integration – it can either float over your content or embedded in your page.

Responsive – it will adapt to different screen sizes and resolutions. You can control this with CSS.

Easy setup – just copy and paste some code. No need to install anything on your computer, or mess around with FTP software. The plugin is hosted on GitHub so updating it is easy.

Customizable – you can easily change the way the plugin looks by changing some CSS properties. If you need something more complicated, you can override the HTML structure too (see FAQ). You can also control what happens when someone wins using JavaScript events that you can hook into. For example, you could automatically post a message in chat announcing that someone has won, close the giveaway after a certain number of people have entered
